Technique Tutorial 2: How to do Warm-Up/ Cool Down?

Hi members,

Badminton is a sport that appears to be safe and simple to play. Although the risk of getting injured is low, injuries like sprains and strains can still occur when cold ligaments are subjected to sudden twisting/turning motions. Hence, it is important to do proper warm-up exercises before each session to keep the risk of injury to the minimum.

Warm-Up: Here are some of the stretches you can try. Best to perform them for at least 15 seconds each.

Cool down:
After each session, walk around for 3-5 min before enjoying any refreshment or taking a seat. This is to allow our body to gradually recover from the exercise and adjust to rest.

We hope the information provided above helps members to stay away from injuries and have a fun time playing the game.

Thank you.

Yours Sincerely,
Desmond
